Specify the line ruling, dot shape and angles required.

LINE/SCREEN RULING (LPI)

Each line (or row) and each column contain a certain number of dots at a particular density.

eg. a 45 lpi screen contains horizontal rows of 45 dots per inch and vertical columns of 45 lines per inch. Importantly the Screen MESH Count should be 5x the chosen LPI

DOT SHAPE

The geometric appearance of a halftone dot, which may vary from elliptical to perfectly round to square. Depending on the application, the shape of halftone dots can be varied to eliminate such problems as moiré and dot gain

Choose from: Round, Euclidean Round, Screen Elipse 60/40, Screen Elipse 70/30,

SCREEN ANGLE

The angle at which the rows of halftone dots run in relation to the horizontal. In order to eliminate undesirable moiré patterns when the four color separation halftones are overprinted, each screen needs to be placed at a different angle, as the dots of one color can interfere with another.

Our default angles are C: 22.5°, M: 82.5°, Y: 7.5° & K: 52.5°
